What’s Happening On The Frontlines
Russian Troops have been advancing in Lyptsi area near Kharkiv, Ukrainian troops have taken down more then 80 Russian troops in Kurakhove direction which is in the Donetsk region, according to General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Reports coming in that Russian troops continue to focus it’s efforts in Kupiansk and Pokrovsk areas.
Situation in Kharkiv region
Russian forces continue to advance putting pressure in Lyptsi area, Ukrainian troops are holding strong in the area. Combat engagements increased to 8, another air strike hit Vovchansk.
Towards Kupiansk direction, it’s getting more tense with 22 combat engagements in 8 different areas.
The confirmed total loss for Russian troops is 106, with two armored transports & other vehicles were destroyed during combat.
Situation in Donetsk region
In Lyman direction there is 6 total engagements with 5 being halted by Ukrainian troops, so far.
Towards Kramatorsk region, the total amount of Russian attacks has increased to 8. Russian troops tried to improve their situation but Ukrainian troops have been able to keep them at bay, reports stating they have the situation under control.
Russian missiles were launched near Novomykolaivka, also a guided aerial bomb was dropped near Shumy.
In Pokrovsk direction there are 12 firefights that are ongoing in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Prohres, Solovyove, Sokol and Umanske.
General Staff have reported, six more advances have been halted, the enemy has suffered losses in manpower with 68 irrecoverable casualties, 140 recoverable casualties. Reports on damaged military equipment is still yet to be clarified.
Total number of combat engagements in Kurakhove increased to 10, Russian forces have lost 81 troops, either wounded or killed. One Russian tank was destroyed with two more being damaged.
Battles on the left bank of the Dnipro River
Reports from Prydniprovskyi, 4 Russian attacks were halted near the village of Krynky. The situation in other areas have not changed much at all, a report from Study of War stated Ukrainian Defense Forces have been holding strong against Russian advances in Kharkiv region, they may be sending African Mercenaries to attack.
General Staff reported that Russia’s losses from May 21–22 are 1,300 personnel.
