Do you feel judged and criticized sometimes?
Recently I encountered a situation where I felt unfairly judged over something that, in that particular context, wasn’t all that important or relevant to the topic being discussed. The topic under discussion was a serious matter but I felt reprimanded over a very small trivial detail, which I found petty and annoying, and I didn’t feel it was constructive criticism.
I found being judged a hurtful experience and it threw me off thinking abstractly. I felt unable to express my thoughts in my own words and this impacted my self-confidence. I was more interested in the serious topic rather than always being perfect or right. I am not perfect and sometimes make mistakes, as humans do.
